Mariana Gil, PhD profile page

As custom content manager, Mariana oversees the creation of written and digital custom content for Technology Networks. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, Mariana moved to Germany. In 2009 she completed her PhD in biological sciences at the Free University of Berlin. Later she worked at the German Cancer Research Centre in Heidelberg, first as a postdoc and next as a senior scientist. Her research focused on animal behavior and neurobiology using different animal models. In 2020 she moved into science communication, before joining Technology Networks in 2021.
